Our Farm<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Welcome To Baas Over Dun, a small rural farm in North Central Arkansas whose farm animals all are somewhat spoiled pets and have rather silly names. We are on a path of self sufficiency, a hard path in these days of everything instant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goats are milked when in season, for soap and homemade cheeses. After making a few batches of Goats milk soap<\/strong><\/a> we were amazed at the softness of our skin after using.  Recently we added an A2A2 Jersey cow named Maggie and she gave birth to twin girls. We also have Dorper &Katahdin Hair Sheep for raising lambs and for fun. Guarding them all are 2 huge white Great Pyrenees\/Anatolian Shepard dogs named \u201cFria\u201d. and \u201cTilda\u201d  Check out our Farm Blog Page<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had been breeding, raising and showing Appaloosa Champions for almost 27 yrs as Dun-Over Appaloosas<\/strong><\/a>. We had produced colorful quality foals, with Top Ten ApHC and AQHA Bloodlines. We have sold foals all over the United States, even to Mexico and Alaska. Alot of our foals have gone on to produce champions of their own. After many successful seasons of raising & showing Champions including a Reserve World Champion stallion, we decided to scale down the breeding and have just one black rescue mare named \u201cSugar\u201d. Our name was derived from our Horse Farm name of \u201cDun-Over Appaloosas\u201d we just put a Goaty Sheepy twist on it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We love to Garden, as we do use the produce from the garden and greenhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also on the farm we operate a Short Term rental , we love sharing the love of the farm with our guests!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
